SEC G2 Chinese Language (CL) assesses reading comprehension, composition writing, and oral communication — skills that require consistent practice across all three papers. Our Sec 4 G2 Chinese programme at Ancourage Academy (Bishan & Woodlands) uses timed reading drills, composition structure frameworks, and mock oral sessions to build fluency and accuracy. Our ESB methodology applies Ebbinghaus spaced repetition to consolidate vocabulary and writing formats, Socratic questioning to sharpen oral reasoning, and Bruner's spiral approach to revisit weaker text types at increasing difficulty. Small groups of 3-6 ensure tutors catch individual weaknesses in comprehension inference and writing coherence.

Frequently Asked Questions
SEC G2 Chinese uses a 1-6 grade scale. Grade 1 is the highest, Grade 5 is the pass mark. The exam covers reading comprehension (Paper 1) and writing + oral (Paper 2).
While earlier preparation is ideal, targeted Sec 4 coaching is still effective. We quickly assess strengths and weaknesses, creating a personalised improvement plan focused on high-impact areas.

In this final year, focused revision maximises SEC results and post-secondary choices.
Yes — our Bishan centre is a 10-minute walk from Bishan MRT (Circle and North-South Lines). Sec 4 students from Whitley Secondary, Guangyang Secondary, Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Secondary and surrounding schools attend our G2 Chinese classes. We also have a Woodlands centre for families in the North. Book a trial class at Bishan.
Our small-group classes are intentionally kept between 3 and 6 students so every learner receives close guidance, timely feedback, and ample practice.
Each lesson is 2 hours, providing ample time for thorough coverage of topics and interactive learning.
Yes. All lesson materials and worksheets are provided and included in the fees. Students should bring regular stationery and, where applicable, school textbooks/workbooks for reference.
