What subjects does Ancourage offer for primary school?

We offer English (composition, comprehension, grammar, oral), Mathematics (heuristics, problem-solving), Science (P3-P6), and Chinese (including Higher Chinese) for P1-P6. All subjects are MOE-aligned with PSLE preparation built progressively from P4 onwards, so students are exam-ready — not just syllabus-covered — by P6.

How many students are in each primary class?

Our small-group classes are capped at 3-6 students. Every child receives close attention, timely written and verbal feedback, and ample guided practice during each lesson — a stark contrast to large tuition centres with 15-20 students per class where individual gaps often go unaddressed.

Do you offer a free trial class for primary students?

Yes. Our trial class is currently free (usually $18). Your child attends a regular group lesson — same class size of 3-6, same teaching style — so you get an accurate feel for our methodology before committing. Book a free trial.

Where are your primary tuition centres?

We have two locations: Bishan (near Catholic High School, Kuo Chuan Presbyterian, Ai Tong School, and Bishan MRT) and Woodlands (Vista Point, near Woodlands Primary, Admiralty Primary, and Woodlands South MRT). Both centres serve students from surrounding primary schools with convenient MRT and bus access.

When should my child start primary tuition?

P1-P2 is ideal for building strong English and Maths foundations before content demands increase significantly at P3. Science tuition becomes relevant from P3, and PSLE-targeted practice should begin no later than P5.
