Secondary Chinese introduces longer texts, expository and argumentative writing, and formal oral presentations. Even strong PSLE students often benefit from transition support. Secondary Chinese demands different skills—longer sustained reading, formal writing formats, and class discussions. We help students bridge this gap and build confidence quickly.

Sec 1 introduces formal functional writing including letters, reports, notices, and speeches. Students learn format conventions and develop the ability to adapt their writing style for different purposes and audiences.

With only 3-6 students per class, our tutors identify each student's specific challenges quickly. Absolutely — our Woodlands centre at Vista Point is well-connected by the Thomson-East Coast Line (Woodlands South MRT, 5-minute walk). Sec 1 Chinese students from Woodgrove Secondary, Christ Church Secondary, Woodlands Secondary and estates across Woodlands, Admiralty, Marsiling, and Sembawang attend our classes to develop reading comprehension, essay writing (作文), and oral communication skills. Our small-group classes are intentionally kept between 3 and 6 students so every learner receives close guidance, timely feedback, and ample practice.

Each lesson is 2 hours, providing ample time for thorough coverage of topics and interactive learning.

Yes. All lesson materials and worksheets are provided and included in the fees. Students should bring regular stationery and, where applicable, school textbooks/workbooks for reference.

Yes. Our materials and pacing align with the MOE syllabus. External syllabuses (e.g. IGCSE, IB) are available upon request.
