Balancing physics and biology revision is the central challenge of SEC G2 Combined Science (commonly called Combi Sci) — students must master forces, energy, electricity, and waves alongside cells, human systems, and ecology. Our Sec 4 programme at Ancourage Academy (Bishan & Woodlands) uses a structured alternating approach so neither discipline falls behind. Our ESB methodology applies Ebbinghaus spaced review to retain physics formulas and biological keywords, Socratic questioning to deepen understanding of processes and forces, and Bruner's spiral to revisit foundational concepts before complex applications. Small groups of 3-6 let tutors focus on each student's weaker discipline.

Our Sec 4 G2 Combined Science (Phy/Bio) tuition is available at our Bishan centre (10 min from Bishan MRT, Circle and North-South Lines) and Woodlands centre (5 min from Woodlands South MRT, Thomson-East Coast Line). Students from Whitley Secondary, Guangyang Secondary, Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Secondary in Bishan, and Marsiling Secondary, Woodlands Ring Secondary, Woodgrove Secondary in Woodlands, attend our classes.
Our small-group classes are intentionally kept between 3 and 6 students so every learner receives close guidance, timely feedback, and ample practice.
Each lesson is 2 hours, providing ample time for thorough coverage of topics and interactive learning.
Yes. All lesson materials and worksheets are provided and included in the fees. Students should bring regular stationery and, where applicable, school textbooks/workbooks for reference.
