Our Sec 4 programme at Ancourage Academy (Bishan & Woodlands) drills keyword-based structured answers for biology and systematic equation balancing for chemistry. Our ESB methodology uses Ebbinghaus spaced repetition to consolidate scientific vocabulary and diagram labels, Socratic questioning to probe understanding of biological processes, and Bruner's scaffolding to build from simple definitions to complex multi-step explanations.
