In Singapore, we teach Microsoft Copilot in 8 of our topic workshops, open to Students (Secondary / JC), Working Adults & Professionals and Educators & Tutors. Each is a 2-hour, small-group, hands-on session at our Bishan or Woodlands centre or live online, and every topic is listed below with what you will do in it.
What it is. Microsoft 365 Copilot is Microsoft’s AI assistant built into the Microsoft 365 apps — Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams — where it drafts, summarises and speeds up everyday work. Microsoft splits the work experience into three: Copilot Chat (Basic), web-grounded chat included with eligible Microsoft 365 subscriptions; Microsoft 365 Copilot (Basic), standard-access Copilot inside Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote without the add-on; and the paid Microsoft 365 Copilot (Premium) add-on with priority access and grounding in your organisation’s own data. There is also a separate free consumer Copilot app for general chat on the web and Windows.
Who it's for. Working professionals, teams and educators who use Microsoft 365 at work and want to save real time. No technical background needed. If your organisation has not bought the paid add-on, we show what the included Copilot experience — and the free Microsoft Copilot on the web and Windows — can already do, so you still leave with practical skills.
How Microsoft Copilot compares. ChatGPT and Google Gemini are mainly used through their own web and mobile apps, whereas Microsoft 365 Copilot sits inside the Microsoft apps you already work in. Microsoft’s own documentation splits it into three licences that differ in what Copilot can see: Copilot Chat (Basic), grounded in web data only; Microsoft 365 Copilot (Basic), with standard access to Copilot in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote; and Microsoft 365 Copilot (Premium), which adds your organisation’s work data.
Every workshop ends with something you made yourself — a project, tool or site you keep.
