In Singapore, we teach Google Gemini in 21 of our topic workshops, open to Kids (Primary, ~8–12), Students (Secondary / JC), Working Adults & Professionals, Parents & Family, Educators & Tutors and Seniors (50+). Each is a 2-hour, small-group, hands-on session at our Bishan or Woodlands centre or live online, and every topic is listed below with what you will do in it.
What it is. Google Gemini is Google’s AI assistant (formerly Bard). You ask in plain language and it helps you research, write, summarise, and create images — and it works across Google tools like Search, Docs and Gmail.
Who it's for. Anyone who lives in the Google ecosystem and wants to study or work faster — students researching, professionals drafting, parents and seniors getting started. We tailor the session to your level.
How Google Gemini compares. Compared with ChatGPT, Gemini’s distinctive feature is Connected Apps: Google says that, with your permission, Gemini can summarise emails from Gmail and create events in Google Calendar, so it suits people who already work in Google’s apps. It also differs on age: Google lets a parent manage Gemini access for a child under 13 through a Family Link account, whereas OpenAI’s terms set 13 as the minimum age for ChatGPT.
Every workshop ends with something you made yourself — a project, tool or site you keep.
