In Singapore, we teach Claude in 6 of our topic workshops, open to Students (Secondary / JC) and Working Adults & Professionals. Each is a 2-hour, small-group, hands-on session at our Bishan or Woodlands centre or live online, and every topic is listed below with what you will do in it.
What it is. Claude is an AI assistant made by Anthropic, known for handling long documents well and reasoning carefully step by step. You type in plain language and it helps you read, write, analyse, and think things through.
Who it's for. Students working through long readings, professionals analysing documents, and anyone who wants thoughtful, detailed help with writing and reasoning. No technical background needed — we tailor the session to your level.
How Claude compares. Claude is Anthropic’s chat assistant, and it differs from Claude Code, Anthropic’s coding tool, in what you use it for: Claude is for reading, writing and analysis, while Claude Code builds and edits software. Compared with ChatGPT and Google Gemini, the biggest practical difference for families is age: Anthropic’s consumer terms require every account holder to be at least 18, versus a minimum of 13 in OpenAI’s terms for ChatGPT.
Every workshop ends with something you made yourself — a project, tool or site you keep.
