In Singapore, we teach Claude Code in 5 of our topic workshops, open to Students (Secondary / JC), Working Adults & Professionals and Educators & Tutors. Each is a 2-hour, small-group, hands-on session at our Bishan or Woodlands centre or live online, and every topic is listed below with what you will do in it.
What it is. Claude Code is an AI coding assistant from Anthropic that can build and edit software from plain-language instructions — so you can create a working app or tool by describing what you want, even without prior coding experience.
Who it's for. Curious beginners, students, professionals and small-business owners who want to build something real with AI — a simple app, a website, or an automation — without learning to code first.
How Claude Code compares. Compared with OpenAI Codex, the other coding tool we teach, the main difference is how you get it: OpenAI includes Codex in its ChatGPT Free, Go, Plus, Pro, Business, Edu and Enterprise plans, while Anthropic’s documentation says most Claude Code surfaces need a Claude subscription or an Anthropic Console account. Claude Code runs in the terminal, in code editors such as VS Code and JetBrains, in a desktop app and in the browser. In our workshops it is the build-without-code option, where Codex leans towards learning to code.
Everyone leaves with a real, working website they built and published themselves — even with no coding background.
