P6 Chinese tuition at Ancourage Academy in Bishan and Woodlands, Singapore. PSLE Chinese preparation in small classes of 3-6 students covering comprehension, composition, and the oral examination. Frequently Asked Questions
Intensive PSLE preparation typically begins in P5 and peaks in P6. However, the best results come from building strong foundations from P1 onwards. In P6, we focus on refining exam techniques while consolidating language skills developed over the years. Read our Higher Chinese guide.
We build confidence through regular mock exams, timed practice under exam conditions, and systematic feedback on areas for improvement. Students become familiar with the PSLE Chinese paper format, develop reliable answering strategies, and learn effective time management techniques, reducing anxiety and allowing them to perform at their best.
Our P6 programme supports both Standard and Higher Chinese students. Higher Chinese students receive additional challenges in advanced vocabulary, composition depth with more sophisticated language expressions, and an introduction to classical Chinese (文言文). Our Bishan centre is 10 minutes on foot from Bishan MRT (NS17/CC15, North-South and Circle Lines). Our Woodlands centre at Vista Point is 5 minutes from Woodlands South MRT (TE3, Thomson-East Coast Line). Primary 6 students from Ai Tong School, Marymount Convent School, Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Primary and Greenwood Primary, Innova Primary, Woodgrove Primary, Si Ling Primary attend regularly.
Our small-group classes are intentionally kept between 3 and 6 students so every learner receives close guidance, timely feedback, and ample practice.
Each lesson is 1.5 hours, providing ample time for thorough coverage of topics and interactive learning.
Yes. All lesson materials and worksheets are provided and included in the fees. Students should bring regular stationery and, where applicable, school textbooks/workbooks for reference.
Yes. Our materials and pacing align with the MOE syllabus. External syllabuses (e.g. IGCSE, IB) are available upon request.
