Comprehension requires more than vocabulary knowledge—it demands inference, analysis, and the ability to express understanding clearly in well-structured sentences. We teach specific strategies for different question types, including inferential and evaluative questions, and help students practise extracting and articulating key information from complex passages. We train students in video conversation through structured response frameworks and regular mock oral sessions. They learn to analyse video clips, formulate well-reasoned opinions with supporting examples, and deliver responses fluently and confidently under simulated exam conditions, covering topics commonly tested in PSLE oral examinations.

Our Primary 5 Chinese students come from schools across two catchment areas: Ai Tong School, Marymount Convent School, Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Primary near our Bishan centre, and Greenwood Primary, Innova Primary, Woodgrove Primary, Si Ling Primary near our Woodlands centre. Our small-group classes are intentionally kept between 3 and 6 students so every learner receives close guidance, timely feedback, and ample practice.

Each lesson is 1.5 hours, providing ample time for thorough coverage of topics and interactive learning.

Yes. All lesson materials and worksheets are provided and included in the fees. Students should bring regular stationery and, where applicable, school textbooks/workbooks for reference.

Yes. Our materials and pacing align with the MOE syllabus. External syllabuses (e.g. IGCSE, IB) are available upon request.
