No — JC2 is not too late. The second year is where most of the H2 syllabus is consolidated and where timed practice does the heavy lifting. We open with a diagnostic across the JC1 topics that A-Level questions lean on hardest — integration techniques, vectors in three dimensions, and the statistics chain from distributions through hypothesis testing — then run repair and timed Paper 1 and Paper 2 practice inside the same lesson rather than one after the other. Book a trial class (usually $18) and we will tell you where your child stands before you commit to a package.

Yes. Ancourage Academy runs holiday programmes and crash courses during the June and September school breaks, and JC2 students use them for full-syllabus revision and timed paper practice ahead of the A-Levels. These intensives keep the same small-group format of 3-6 students as our weekly JC2 H2 Maths classes, at our Bishan and Woodlands centres. Programmes are offered based on demand, so contact us for what is running this cycle.

JC2 H2 Maths A-Level preparation lessons run in small groups of 3-6 students, with 2-hour weekly sessions focused on exam readiness. Fees are charged as fixed packages of 4, 12 or 24 lessons, with a lower per-lesson rate on the larger packages; notes and worksheets are included, and there is no registration or material fee. We do not list per-level rates online — the exact rate is quoted on request once we know the subject, class type and lesson length. Trial lessons are currently free (usually $18). Two hours a week is the standard commitment — one 2-hour small-group lesson, plus the practice we set between lessons, which is usually one timed section or a focused problem set rather than a large worksheet, so it fits around school tutorials and JC2 internal exams. During the prelim and A-Level run-in, students may attend more frequently, for example twice weekly, and we adjust the load with you rather than adding to it by default.

Yes. H2 Maths is substantially more demanding, covering vectors, complex numbers, Maclaurin series, and differential equations — none of which appear in H1. In JC2, our H2 Maths A-Level preparation focuses on exam technique, timed practice across all topics, and building the mathematical rigour needed for STEM pathways at university.

Our JC2 H2 Maths tuition is available at our Bishan centre (10 min from Bishan MRT, Circle and North-South Lines) and Woodlands centre (5 min from Woodlands South MRT, Thomson-East Coast Line). Students from Eunoia Junior College, Raffles Institution, Catholic Junior College near our Bishan centre, and Yishun Innova Junior College across the North, attend our classes.

Our small-group classes are capped at 6 students and typically run 3 to 6, so every learner receives close guidance, timely feedback, and ample practice.

Each lesson is 2 hours, providing ample time for thorough coverage of topics and interactive learning.

Yes. All lesson materials and worksheets are provided and included in the fees. Students should bring regular stationery and, where applicable, school textbooks/workbooks for reference.

Yes. Our materials and pacing align with the MOE syllabus. External syllabuses (e.g. IGCSE, IB) are available upon request.
