Combined Science (SEAB syllabus 5086 for Physics/Chemistry, 5087 for Physics/Biology, 5088 for Chemistry/Biology) covers two subjects at a less intensive depth than Pure Sciences (6091 Pure Physics, 6092 Pure Chemistry, 6093 Pure Biology). Combined Science suits students who want broad scientific knowledge without specialising. At O-Level, Combined Science is graded as a single subject covering both disciplines, assessed across a shared MCQ paper, two subject-specific theory papers, and a practical. Sec 3 Combined Science (Chemistry/Physics) lessons at our Bishan and Woodlands centres run weekly for 2 hours, with 3-6 students per class. As Sec 3 begins the O-Level 5086 syllabus, our small groups allow tutors to track progress across both Chemistry and Physics components. Our Woodlands centre at Vista Point is 5 minutes from Woodlands South MRT (TE3, Thomson-East Coast Line). Sec 3 students from Whitley Secondary, Guangyang Secondary, Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Secondary and Marsiling Secondary, Woodlands Ring Secondary, Woodgrove Secondary attend regularly.
