Sec 2 G1 Maths Tuition

G1 Maths focuses on practical arithmetic and simple algebra in everyday contexts. G2 includes more complex algebraic manipulation, geometry proofs, and abstract problem-solving. Achieving 75% or higher in G1 may qualify for G2 level-up.

Yes. End-of-Sec 2 is a key assessment point. Students achieving 75% or higher in the subject (a commonly published threshold — each school sets its own criteria) may level up to G2. Our tuition builds the algebraic thinking and problem-solving skills needed for this transition.

ITE Nitec and Higher Nitec programmes require practical numeracy — percentages, ratios, basic algebra, and data handling. Our G1 Maths tuition aligns directly with these requirements, ensuring students are well-prepared.

G1 students can progress to ITE (Nitec and Higher Nitec programmes), with further pathways to polytechnic via Higher Nitec. Our Bishan centre serves families from Bishan, Toa Payoh, Ang Mo Kio, Marymount, and Thomson — all within a few MRT stops on the North-South or Circle Line. Sec 2 students from Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Secondary, Catholic High Secondary, Raffles Institution attend our G1 Mathematics classes. For families in the North, our Woodlands centre at Vista Point serves Woodlands, Admiralty, Marsiling, and Sembawang.

Our small-group classes are intentionally kept between 3 and 6 students so every learner receives close guidance, timely feedback, and ample practice.

Each lesson is 2 hours, providing ample time for thorough coverage of topics and interactive learning.

Yes. All lesson materials and worksheets are provided and included in the fees. Students should bring regular stationery and, where applicable, school textbooks/workbooks for reference.

Yes. Our materials and pacing align with the MOE syllabus. External syllabuses (e.g. IGCSE, IB) are available upon request.
